Hello! I’m Tabi Gillard and I work at both Cotherstone and Bowes Primary Schools. I teach Class One at Bowes 4 days a week and also deliver French to KS2. I work one day a week at Cotherstone, leading intervention groups and teaching French and RE to KS2. I specialise in teaching MFL. I started at Cotherstone Primary School in April 2020 as maternity cover for Class Two and now work across the federation, with responsibilities of being History and MFL (International) coordinator for both schools and PSHE coordinator at Bowes.
When I was little, I attended Bowes Primary and my experiences as a pupil were what fuelled my ambition to become a primary school teacher. I have recently moved to Darlington after having lived in Eggleston nearly all my life. I have a tabby cat called Bambam – a very important family member! In my spare time I like to do craft activities, such as scrapbooking, and enjoy watching football (I support Liverpool FC!)
