I have been teaching for over 30 years and have been very lucky to always work in lovely schools with supportive staff and fantastic children. I have worked at Bowes for 9 years and mainly teach the Year 5 and 6 class. I am responsible for the Maths, ICT , Music and PSHE throughout the school. I usually take my class on a residential trip each September – the last one was to Dumfries! I am responsible for running the School Council. We are very proud of our fund-raising efforts. I organise the Year 6 Leavers Service at church and take care of the music for church services.
Last April I taught myself to use Google Classroom- and some of my on line learning featured recently on Tyne Tees TV. I have also created an exclusive You Tube Channel for school to facilitate parents watching our 2020 whole school Nativity performance.
