Let’s get Secondary Ready!
We’d like to share with all Year 6 parents this ‘Secondary Ready’ maths course that your children can access free-of-charge to help them prepare for Year 7 in September. The course covers topics like geometry and statistics and is designed specifically to support children for starting at secondary school.
Here is a link to some lovely clips in which children talk about their experiences some of transitioning from primary school to secondary school.
Moving to secondary school is a big step and can seem a bit scary. You could be worried about leaving the school you know really well. You might find that there are more buildings and that …
Mr B 🙂
Please see government guidance for parents about returning children to school. We are currently working through the guidance for schools and consulting with the local authority and will be in touch with options once a thorough risk assessment and planning exercise had taken place. Please be assured that the safety of children is our primary concern.
