Cotherstone school is situated in the centre of Cotherstone, a village on the River Tees, approximately four miles west of Barnard Castle. It was opened in 1965 primarily to serve children of Cotherstone and surrounding villages.

Our school is for children aged from 4 to 11 years of age. There are at present 49 children, made up of 3 classes.
